- Courtney Cox is an Associate Professor at Fordham University School of Law. She writes at the intersection of law, technology, and philosophy, with an emphasis on time and risk. Professor Cox joined Fordham from practice at Ropes & Gray, LLP, where she was an intellectual property litigator. She previously clerked for then-Chief Judge Sandra L. Lynch of the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, and was a Yale Fox Fellow at Fudan University in Shanghai. Professor Cox earned her J.D., with highest honors, from the University of Chicago Law School; her doctorate, in philosophy, from the University of Oxford; and her BA, magna cum laude with distinction, from Yale University.
